VITERBO – The Evo oil of the Le Rose variety from Frantoio Pierluigi Presciuttini in the province of Viterbo, won the Platinum Award and Best of Competition in the prestigious Amsterdam International Olive Oil Competition led by Gregor Christiaans in which over 200 participants from all over the world participated .

The Amsterdam International Olive Oil Competition is an annual event that attracts producers, experts and enthusiasts from all over the world. Participating olive oils undergo rigorous sensory and chemical evaluations in order to identify the best products in terms of aroma, taste, balance and overall quality.

‘We are thrilled to announce that Le Rose Evo oil has obtained the Platinum Award and Best of Competition at the Amsterdam International Olive Oil Competition, one of the most important world competitions for high quality extra virgin olive oils – declares Pierluigi Presciuttini – Our commitment to production of olive oil from the recovery of abandoned olive groves was recognized and awarded in the quality extra virgin olive oil category by a very important jury, made up of industry experts and great chefs. We are grateful for this recognition and we will work even harder to continue to amaze olive oil lovers with our products and to proudly represent Italy in the international olive oil panorama. We sincerely thank the Amsterdam International Olive Oil Competition, the jury and the founder Gregor Christiaans for giving us the opportunity to present Le Rose Evo oil and put it in competition with the best in the world.

This award is added to those already achieved, in fact, the ‘Le Rose’ EVO Oil won the GOLD MEDAL in May 2019 at the prestigious EVO-IOOC International Competition and was reconfirmed in June 2023 at the top of the international panorama with the Gold Medal at the Amsterdam IOOC Competition, it is also a finalist in the prestigious LODO Guide Competition and was included among the Top 20 best oils in the world of the prestigious international Evooleum competition with a score of 90/100 and included in the 2025 guide.

Having become known for his project to recover and bring back into production the abandoned olive groves of the Tuscia countryside, Pierluigi Presciuttini currently manages around 3500 plants and aims to raise awareness among lovers of this excellent product for the recovery of the olive and oil heritage, in fact in the new headquarters, Strada Tuscanese km 8,100 in Viterbo it is possible to participate in tastings, tasting courses and gastronomic initiatives linked to the world of Excellent Oil.

In Tuscia alone there are over 100,000 abandoned plants that no one has cared for and managed for years. Well, one of the objectives is to recover as many of these plants as possible, bringing them back into production by taking care of all aspects of the supply chain, from pruning, to fertilization and harvesting and processing of the fruits.

Once the olive trees are put back into production, Pierluigi also manages to safeguard the surrounding area.
