Bridgerton 3, the second part is out on Netflix: plot, cast and what to expect

The first four episodes, on Netflix from May 16, 2024, marked the biggest debut in the history of the series: over 41 million views in just 4 days. Bridgerton, starting from Thursday 13 June, is now ready to return with the last episodes (5-8) of this amazing season. The second part, judging by the trailer, will continue to focus on the love story between the protagonists Penelope Featherington and Colin Bridgerton, but there will also be new and possible interesting implications. We will need to delve deeper, for example, into the relationship between Lady Bridgerton and Lady Danbury’s brother.

The plot of the series

Penelope Featherington, after hearing Colin Bridgerton’s disparaging words towards her, has finally put aside her long-standing crush on him. However, Penelope has decided that the time has come to find a husband who will guarantee her enough independence to continue her double life as Lady Whistledown, away from her mother and sisters. But her lack of self-esteem causes her attempts to get married to fail spectacularly. Meanwhile, Colin has returned from his summer travels with a new look and a very bold attitude, but he is disheartened to find that Penelope, the only person who has always appreciated him as he was, is giving him the sack. Eager to regain her friendship, Colin offers to mentor her to help her find self-confidence and therefore a husband. But when her lessons begin to have an all-too-positive effect, Colin is forced to wonder if her feelings for his girlfriend are really just friendly. Complicating things for Penelope is her breakup with Eloise, who has found a new friend in unexpected circles. Furthermore, her ever-increasing presence in her high society makes it even more difficult for her to keep her Lady Whistledown alter ego a secret.
