The Vercelli Police Headquarters was pleased to join the initiative promoted by the CGIL Vercelli Valsesia to organize a friendly football match between a State Police team and a CGIL representative made up of young immigrants.
The foundation of the meeting, which will be held on Friday 14 June next, at 6.30 pm at the Piedmont Sport Camp of this Rigola course, is that of aggregation, cohesion and social inclusion.
This is also with a view to an ever-increasing closeness of the State Police towards those who present themselves at the Police Headquarters on a daily basis to process immigration procedures.
The initiative was presented yesterday at the Police Headquarters in the presence of the General Secretary Valter Bossoni and the Head of the Foreigners Office Giuseppe Fodero, for the CGIL Vercelli Valsesia, as well as the Police Commissioner of the province of Vercelli Giuseppe Mariani and the Vicar of the Police Commissioner Gonario Antonio Rainone.
Some of the footballers representing the CGIL also intervened for the occasion.
Both parties, Police Headquarters and CGIL, agreed that it will be a moment of aggregation and light-heartedness with a view to interaction and integration.
