PISTOIA. Opens today at Bottegone the first Conad distributor of the province of Pistoia. In front of the roundabout that separates the hamlet of Bottegone from that of Barba, in via Fiorentina 774.
Conad ensures “competitive prices” and in fact company policy seems to provide this. The Bottegone distributor is the first in Pistoia, the eleventh in Tuscany, where the first was inaugurated in the province of Lucca in 2005.
It will be a 24-hour self-service, which will supply petrol and diesel. The system will be able to supply eight cars at the same time, it is equipped with an assisted cash register for post-payment and a part always in self-service prepayment mode: the assisted cash register will operate continuously from Monday to Saturday from 7.30 to 19.30, the on Sunday the system will remain in prepayment. All bank cards will be accepted and – for those who pay with Carta Insieme plus Conad Card – there will be a further discount of one cent per liter on the price charged. «Today we are happy to inaugurate the brand new Conad self 24h, a modern vending machine, which allows us to offer a new quality service to our customers and, above all, a further opportunity for savings and a confirmation of our commitment to protecting the power of purchase of many families – states Carmelo Nanì, partner of Conad Nord Ovest – I hope that this new distributor can become an important point of reference for the local community and can help to control prices in the entire area”.
As mentioned, the new fuel station in Bottegone will be the eleventh Conad plant in the North West of Tuscany, together with those in Gallicano (Lucca), Casciana Terme-Lari (Pisa), Lucca, Grosseto via Bulgaria, Grosseto via Scansanese, Prato, Altopascio (Lucca), Campiglia Marittima fraction of Venturina (Livorno), Portoferraio and Cecina.
«From 2005 to today – continues Nanì – the savings of motorists who refueled at these distributors has been over 65 million euros overall.
The direct benefit obtained by motorists on Italian territory was on average equal to 8 euro cents for each liter of fuel for an overall saving of over 330 million euros”.
