Yesterday the last farewell, in the mother church of Senago, in the Milan area, where he lived with his wife, ad Alessio Cassandro, the 38-year-old, originally from Padula, in the Salerno area, died in mysterious circumstances on the night between May 30th and 31st. Cassandro was hit by a Malpensa Shuttle, the connecting buses to the Milan airport, on the ramp that from via Sant’Elia leads to the Ghisallo overpass, on the roadway exiting Milan. Right from the start, the bus driver’s statements highlighted horrifying details about this absurd death. In fact, the driver always declared that in the dark, immediately after the slight bend in the ramp, he would suddenly found the man in front of him, already lying or lying on the asphalt; impossible for the driver himself to avoid the investment.

The driver, but it is due to the investigation, is currently investigated for vehicular homicide. In the meantime, the Milan Prosecutor’s Office had seized the body of Alessio Cassandro on which in recent days it was autopsy examination performed. An examination from which we expect to be able to clarify fundamental aspects for reconstructing what happened, first of all whether Alessio whether or not he was already dead at the moment of impact, and other information, including toxicological, to try to provide answers to the family. In fact, at the moment no one can explain what Alessio was doing there, on that overpass. at 4 in the morning. An even more anomalous circumstance considering that Padula’s family members, they expected him the next day right in the family, for the celebration of the baptism of a granddaughter. This is a fundamental element, which excludes any voluntary gesture from his relatives.

He should have arrived at Salerno central station, by train, at 2pm the following day. He was supposed to stay in Padula for a week, waiting for the celebration of the communions of some children of relatives and friends. But Alessio never took that Frecciarossa to Salerno. Furthermore, in the last few hours a detail has emerged which, if possible, makes the mystery even more complicated. It seems that the 38-year-old wandered around for several hours during the night, however, he traveled a few hundred kilometers with his car, right before the accident on the Ghisallo overpass. A path, without any apparent explanation, certified by telepass passages and surveillance cameras. The young man’s car, we remember, was found a few hundred meters away from the accident site, in a car park. Complex investigations, which await the results of the autopsy examination. Meanwhile, yesterday the young man’s body was returned to his family by the Milan Prosecutor’s Office.
