“The news events that happened last Saturday affected us deeply, they sadden us, and as professionals in the sector they sadden us. Breathe is the venue at the ‘Il Traghetto’ establishment, the music and entertainment activity has existed in this structure since 1997 and has always provided smiles and clean fun. Our disco has brought prestige to the city and the region with shows and evenings that have, for almost 30 years, accompanied the summers of several generations of Pescara residents. We have always made the utmost economic commitment to this activity and we are a company that has more than 50 regularly employed people, with an important supply of artists, promotion and the beverage sector. What happened on Saturday strikes us with the unpredictability and senselessness of the gesture despite the massive presence of our security.”
Thus in a note from the management of Breathe, the club on the Pescara seafront where a young man was stabbed a few evenings ago. “For these reasons, after sharing the incident with our employees and collaborators, we decided to take a pause for reflection with respect for the boy who was the victim of the insane gesture who is still under observation – adds the management – and to be able to understand how to implement the security system in collaboration with the police. Breathe Pescara, therefore, will remain closed by mutual agreement between the owners, management, employees and artistic cast on the evenings of Friday 14th and Saturday 15th June, thus sending a strong, positive and decisive message to all those who just want to have fun at night”.
