Sunday 12 May 2013, Castelletto sopra Ticino, province of Novara. Day and place of the last time of Vbc (at the time Pomì Casalmaggiore), in Serie A2. Day and place of game 2 of the playoff final for promotion to A1, which the team achieved through the repechage after the defeat with Ornavasso.

More than eleven years have passed since that match, the last in the cadet division for Vbc, a category that it is now about to find again through the acquisition of the Legnano sports title.
From president Massimo Boselli Botturi to general manager Giovanni Ghini, the underhand negotiations of the pink club were sewn up over weeks of interviews, phone calls, surveys with other clubs and possible combinations.

The will of Vbc has always been clear: the strength of a solid core of sponsors allowed to restart from Serie A2, after the sale of the A1 title to Cuneo. And from there Casalmaggiore will try to restart, with a roster that seems already in an advanced state. From coach Napolitano to the experience of Stufi and Pincerato, from the armed wing of Montano to the tentacles of Faraone.
Pieces of a puzzle that will be put together, starting from one certainty: acquisition of the title and registration for A2, to be done by 12:00 on Tuesday, the deadline for registration for the championships.

The obstacle at the moment would seem to be represented “only” by the Lega Pallavolo Serie A Femminile that must view and certify the transfer of three sports titles: Casalmaggiore would go to acquire the right of A2 from Legnano which in turn has contacts underway and negotiations on the home straight for the B1 from Catania. The deadline for registration is approaching: Tuesday is already expected to be a fiery midday.
