SANDRIGO (VICENZA) – A fire in a waste treatment company in Sandrigo it partially destroyed a warehouse and caused a dense black cloud that alarmed citizens. The mayor this morning in a Facebook post warned to keep doors and windows closed.

The causes of the fire are being investigated by firefighters.

Citizens are advised that the fire that broke out yesterday afternoon in Viale della Repubblica 28 in Sandrigo, inside the warehouse owned by SAVI Servizi, was put out thanks to the timely intervention of the Fire Brigade.
The removal of material outside the site continues, which could cause further columns of smoke to be released.

The first measurements carried out by Arpav to measure air quality do not cause particular concern.
It is advisable to keep the doors and windows of buildings located near the site affected by the fire closed.
