And considering CO2 emissions stuck at 105 g/km, the price can further drop to 30,500 euros by virtue of the third tier incentives. At least until you exhaust yourself. In 2025, the 145 HP full hybrid engine will be joined by the plug-in variant.

The dimensions of the new Renault Symbioz lead it to move right into the C segment. The length of 4,410 mm in fact, it places Symbioz halfway between Captur and Austral. Dimensions that allow the new SUV from beyond the Alps to appeal to customers with the most varied needs, primarily families. The loading floor, for example, can accommodate up to 624 litres and thanks to the 16 cm sliding rear bench it is possible to favor the capacity of the boot or the habitability of the rear passengers.

The engine that we will see on the road from next September is that of the Symbioz E-Tech Hybrid 145 HP. A propulsion system that operates with a 1,600 cc four-cylinder petrol engine, naturally aspirated, producing 94 HP of power. Two electrical units contribute to this. One of 36 kW and a second starter of 18 kW. The transmission is a multimode clutchless automatic, in turn powered by a 1.2 kWh battery. Solutions that allow the new Renault Symbioz to travel 80% of the time for city trips in fully electric mode. With a consumption figure in the average WLTP cycle of 4.6 liters per 100 km.
