LAST DAY OF SCHOOL: EMOTIONS AND SUCCESS AT THE AVIGLIANA COMPREHENSIVE INSTITUTE
They write from the school: “The last day of school gave us great emotions. They seemed to be concluded with the last bell of the year, but in the afternoon some news arrived which further filled our Avigliana Comprehensive Institute with joy. In fact, the rankings of the semi-final of the Kangourou have been released, a mathematical competition of national importance that Professor Riccio proposes every year. Two boys from the Benjamin category (first and second grade) from our institute have qualified for the final to be held in Mirabilandia in September. These are Luca Cane and Giacomo Asaro, who managed to stand out among numerous participants. The competition took place on May 30, when six boys from the Avigliana school (one in the Ecolier category, three in the Benjamin category and two in the Cadet category) played in the regional semi-final at the Agnelli Institute in Turin. Having six students in the semi-finals is in itself an excellent result, which testifies to the commitment and dedication of the students and their teachers. But the news that two of them made it to the national final brought a wave of enthusiasm and pride to our school community. Now, after this splendid result, we can finally enjoy the well-deserved summer holidays, knowing that we have experienced a school year full of satisfactions. In September, all our thoughts and support will go to Luca and Giacomo, with the hope that they can live an unforgettable experience and perhaps bring home further successes.
