All the candidates running alone passed the quorum hurdle.
In Friuli Venezia Giulia there are already the first 28 mayors. They are the ones who ran alone and where the only enemy was the quorum, but all the candidates exceeded the 40% threshold.
In fact, in all the municipalities where there was a single candidate, the quorum was exceeded well ahead of schedule. A decisive factor was the reduction of the threshold in municipalities with up to 15 thousand inhabitants. Already at 7pm, there percentage of voters in municipalities with a single candidacy was above 40%. Citizens’ trust, expressed through voting participation, represents an important starting point for them to establish a constructive dialogue with the community and respond to local needs.
