Bitter birthday for a young mother from Grottammare who celebrated her 37th birthday together with her friends on Saturday. At three in the morning she was riding her scooter home when she lost her balance and fell in via Tremiti, in the direction of the ‘Cucale’ chalet. The woman hit her head, suffering a large lacerated wound with the loss of a lot of blood. Initially the patient’s condition appeared worrying, but then she recovered in hospital and diagnostic tests also ruled out serious damage. Also in Grottammare there was another independent accident involving a boy who fell on his bike and was rescued by the green cross.
