The Mountain Community, in collaboration with the Municipality of Berbenno di Valtellina, organized an extraordinary event which saw the participation of Matteo Togninalli, head of the track engineers of the Scuderia Ferrari Formula 1. The meeting, held on Saturday 1st June at 10:00 am in the meeting room of the Mountain Community in Sondrio, was a great success, inspiring and motivating the audience present, especially young people.
An inspiring meeting
Matteo Togninalli, graduated from ITIS “Mattei” in Sondrio and engineer since 2003, shared his extraordinary professional experience which has seen him leading Ferrari’s technical activity in F1 since 2015. During the meeting, Togninalli retraced the salient stages of his career, underlining the importance of the technical training and passion for motor racing that brought him to the top of one of the most prestigious teams in the world.
Participation and involvement
The event saw the participation of some students from ITIS “Mattei” in Sondrio, the institute where Togninalli himself completed his high school studies. The room, despite the limited capacity, was packed with young people who were enthusiastic and curious to listen to the story of a successful professional from their own land.
To ensure greater participation, the meeting was broadcast live on the Mountain Community’s YouTube channel, thus allowing a wider audience to follow the event. The online broadcast recorded numerous views, confirming the interest and admiration that Togninalli arouses even outside the local context.
