From Robiola di Roccaverano to wines passing through farmhouse cuisine. This in short is the journey of the entrepreneurs of Donne Coldiretti Liguria who the Piedmontese entrepreneurs hosted in the Asti area of Alta Langa.
The first stop, at the Traversa Wilma company, in Roccaverano, offered the opportunity to learn about the world of local cheeses, thanks to a laboratory on the famous Robiola Dop of Roccaverano, the only recognized DOP goat’s cheese produced from raw milk . Lunch was dedicated to the flavors of the Alta Langa of Asti, from the Piedmontese breed steak to the typical ravioli al plin at the Campagna Amica farmhouse, in Bubbio, Three Hills in the Langa by Paola Arpione, Coldiretti Asti women manager and peasant cook. Finally, in the afternoon, the coordination headed for a visit to the vineyards and cellars of the Torelli Agricultural Company, a pioneer of organic wine with a historical family tradition.
