In the province of Rome
In province of Rome we vote for the mayor in 30 municipalitiesof 4 «heavy», i.e. with over 15 thousand inhabitants. In Civitavecchia the five years of Ernesto Tedesco (centre-right) who said no to re-nomination. They challenge Massimiliano Grassoby FdI, e Marco Piendibene, of the Democratic Party. But also in the running are Paolo Poletti, supported by FI, Enzo D’Antò of the M5S, Vittorio Petrelli and Roberta Galletta, the last two supported by civic lists. In Monterotondo the outgoing mayor, Riccardo Varone at Pd altitude, he runs against it again Simone Di Ventura (centre-right) who he had beaten in the run-off five years ago. Ten years as mayor of Tivoli come to an end Giuseppe Proietti: the race is at five, of which three women: Maria Rosaria Cecchetti, Francesca Chimenti and Giovanna Marconi (Pd) share shares of the centre-left electorate. Three candidates are running in Monte Porzio Catone: Massimo Pulcini comes back for the BIS supported by the centre-right, Azione Italia Viva and Più Europa, and challenging him are Carla Carletti (Pd, M5S, Verdi) and Gioia Di Mauro (civic list Defend Monte Porzio Catone).
