BAD‘. Franco Valentinotti has been found. The 49-year-old is fortunately in good condition but was nevertheless taken to the emergency room for the necessary checks and investigations. The vast search operation which involved dozens and dozens of rescuers in recent hours has therefore concluded positively.
The activities were, in fact, started on the evening of Friday 7 June. The alarm was raised by the family members who affected the Single number for emergencies, worried about not returning home. After leaving the work placein the industrial area of the town in Val di Sole, and some sightings at the Croviana bar and on the Regazzini bridge, the traces of the 49-year-old had been lost (Article here).
The searches began from there: the woods and the banks of the Noce river were searched, in particular after the police had received feedback from the cell phone, the device had connected for the last time a telephone cell in the vicinity of Croviana at 9.30pm yesterday.
The first operations were carried out by the local firefighters while today, Saturday 8 June, 37 mountain rescue operators from the Alpine stations also went into action. In the evening, fortunately the turning point. The 49-year-old was found in the Malè area, in good conditions. After initial assistance from healthcare personnel, the man was nevertheless accompanied as a precaution to the emergency room for checks.
