Four Israeli hostages freed in Gaza. Among them there is also Noa Argamani, the girl who became a symbol of October 7, when she was kidnapped by Hamas militiamen while she was at a gathering in Southern Israel with her boyfriend. They were taking part together with thousands of other people at the Natura party, on the occasion of the Jewish holiday of Sukkot. The images of Noa, dragged on a motorbike by terrorists and her screams “Don’t kill me”, went around the world.
“I’m very excited, I haven’t spoken Hebrew for so long,” were Noa’s first words during a conversation with Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu. “Not for a minute,” Netanyahu replied, “did we stop thinking about you and we didn’t give up.”
Immediately after the news of the release of the four hostages, the war cabinet minister and centrist leader, Benny Gantz, canceled the press conference scheduled for this evening on the expiration of the ultimatum given to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on the change of policy in the war on Gaza, under penalty leaving the government. “We will not stop until we have completed the mission and brought all our abductees home,” added the prime minister. In addition to Noa, Shlomi Zivi, Almog Meir Jan and Andrey Kozlov were also freed.
