The officers of the Road Accident Department of the Local Police of Naples intervened last night via delle Repubblica Maritime where a serious road accident occurred involving a motorbike and a car, driven respectively by a 44-year-old man and a 51-year-old man, both Neapolitans from the Barra district.
The accident occurred around 7.45pm. From an initial reconstruction of the dynamics it is assumed that the motorbike was traveling along Via delle Republiche Marinare with the direction of travel being Via Ferrante Learned. At the intersection with via Sesto Fiorentino the motorbike collided with the car coming from its right and, following the strong impact, ended up on the opposite road.
Due to his injuries, iThe 44-year-old was transported to the Mare hospital where he suffered a long and delicate operation. At the moment the prognosis is reserved. The agents of the Road Accident Department have ordered the seizure of both vehicles for further investigations and had the drivers subjected to toxicological tests.
