For some it already rang yesterday, others will hear it today: it is the last bell of theschool year. Several polling centers also in the Valley have brought forward the closing of the classrooms to June 7th to allow the setting up of the voting booths for European and municipal elections.
For many the study does not end here, because there are the exams: the eighth grade exam will take place between the middle of next week and June 30, according to the calendars defined by the individual exam commissions. Many will be struggling with the final exam, which has returned to its classic setting since 2023, after the changes imposed by Covid. This year the first test, the classic theme, is set for Wednesday 19 June. The second test will follow on 20 June, focusing on one or more of the disciplines that characterize the course of studies, defined by the Ministry with a specific decree. Finally the interview.
So it won’t be an immediate holiday for them teachers and the school directors from Brescia, around 10 thousand, who, immediately after the end of lessons, will be involved in the counting operations. Many lower and upper secondary teachers will be busy with state exams. For nursery schools the summer break will begin on June 29th.
The return to school for students from Brescia will be on 12 September.
