Marco Baroni he is the new coach of Lazio. The Florentine coach, formerly of Hellas Verona, recently signed his new contract which will bind him to the Biancoceleste club for the next two sporting seasons.
A decisive meeting was therefore held with the sporting director Angelo Fabiani, after the basis of agreement reached in the last few hours in telephone contacts with the management. The new Lazio coach, who arrived in the capital around lunchtime and immediately moved to the club’s headquarters, is still inside the Formello sports centre, after having put pen to paper on the new contract, and will probably already be discussing with Claudio Lotito’s transfer man for questions regarding the transfer market to be carried out during the next summer session and more generally the planning in view of the immediate future.
Therefore, all that is missing for the official announcement is the company’s press release, which however could be delayed by a few hours. Purely bureaucratic issues, given that before we will have to wait for the resolution of Baroni’s previous agreement with Hellas. Details that do not put the operation at risk given that, as mentioned, Marco Baroni has already signed his new contract and can thus start his new adventure as coach of Lazio after Igor Tudor.
