(Teleborsa) – “Ask ARERA” is the name of the new institutional communication campaign promoted by ARERA, on air from Monday 10 June, to help consumers resolve their doubts about electricity and gas supplies, also in view of the changes linked to the end of the electricity protection service, scheduled for 30 June 2024. The campaign aims to make citizens aware of the information and the free tools made available by the Authority to better understand i energy markets and news, for example to analyze your consumption habits, compare offers on the free market, know your rights or learn to read your bill. It supports the communication actions carried out so far by the Ministry of the Environment and Energy Safety on the subject of “greater protection” (as provided for by the Energy Decree-Law of 9 December 2023, n. 181).

The communication action will take place through one spot TV And radiobroadcast on national channels and then on the RAI spaces made available by the Department for Information and Publishing of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, and will also be amplified on the social side with video tutorials that will explain to users in a simple and quick way some of the main issues related to energy supplies.

In the TV commercial a woman reads a bill and has doubts about changes in its electricity and gas supplies. From this moment on, a series of perplexed figures are shown in an ironic way to whom the protagonist turns to ask for explanations, but who are unable to give her an answer: the mother, the neighbor, the barman, the Aikido teacher, the son, the psychologist and even the cat!
