The “Music Festival” event comes to life at Palazzo Farnese

The Music Festival event, in collaboration with the Spring Attitude Festival, represents a unique opportunity to celebrate the arrival of the summer season through electronic music. Originally born in 1985 on the initiative of the French Ministry of Culture, this festival has become an annual event spread throughout Europe, involving amateur and professional musicians who perform in the streets, squares and gardens, providing international sounds.

On 21 June 2024, Palazzo Farnese, the prestigious seat of the French Embassy in Italy, will be transformed into a unique setting for this event. This year, the Institut Français Italia and the Spring Attitude Festival have joined forces to organize a large concert free and open to the public, enriched by the participation of two leading artists in the electronic music scene: Ditonellapiaga and Vitalic.

The Franco-Italian collaboration, already appreciated in past editions with artists such as La Femme, Cosmo, Brigitte and Carmen Consoli, returns after six years with a program that promises to give the public an unforgettable evening of electronic music.

Ditonellapiaga, a young Roman artist with two albums under her belt, including the recent “Flash”, has quickly established herself in the Italian indie pop scene thanks to her multifaceted and experimental music. The evening will begin with his exclusive DJ set, which promises to involve the audience from the first notes.

Pascal Arbez-Nicolas, known as Vitalic, a famous French producer and composer of electronic music, will perform alongside Ditonellapiaga. Vitalic has received numerous awards, including the Prix Lumières 2024 and nominations for the César Awards, and his first two albums, “Ok Cowboy” and “Flashmob”, have established him internationally.

The French Ambassador to Italy, Martin Briens, enthusiastically welcomed the event, underlining the importance of bringing electronic music to the Palazzo Farnese and introducing the lively Franco-Italian scene to spectators. Furthermore, he highlighted the role of musical culture in strengthening ties between the two nations.

The event is not only a moment of leisure and entertainment, but also an opportunity to promote environmental sustainability. Thanks to the support of Edison’s eco-responsible “Green Embassy” project and the contribution of Pernod-Ricard with the Absolut and Malfy brands, the event will be characterized by a low energy impact.

In conclusion, the Music Festival at Palazzo Farnese represents a unique cultural and musical experience, which combines the French tradition of the event with the liveliness of the Italian music scene. An unmissable opportunity to celebrate summer, music and the collaboration between two nations through an event dedicated to sustainability and quality entertainment.
