JARIET Technologies Launches Expanded Family of ELECTRA Direct RF Sampling AD/DA Converter Transceivers Based on State-of-the-Art 64 GSPS ELECTRA-MA Products to Better Serve VHF to Ka Band Markets

REDONDO BEACH, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–JARIET Technologies, a fabless semiconductor device developer specializing in the development of high-performance data conversion transceivers, announced an expansion of its focuses on ELECTRA-MA with a much broader family of ELECTRA products, in the wake of the positive results obtained in the fields of multi-antenna electronic warfare and prototyping for 6G cellular communications. The expanded product portfolio is well positioned to address the needs of multiple industries – radar, satellite communications, test equipment and quantum computing – with optimized offerings from 100 MHz to 36 GHz and increased port density. The ELECTRA platform is enabling the next generation with application-optimized offerings by providing direct RF sampling systems from VHF to Ka-band at analog-to-digital/digital-to-analog (AD/DA) converter sampling rates of up to 64 gigasamples per second (GSPS).

The ELECTRA architecture, already established in the aerospace and defense industries, is now offered as a family of commercially available integrated circuits to give customers broader access to advanced JARIET technology in a self-contained package with a standard SERDES data interface. The common software environment and architecture used across the entire ELECTRA family reduces development costs for customers and enables shorter time-to-market while addressing multi-function and multi-domain application spaces. The 36 GHz bandwidth enables software-defined radio (SDR) at double the frequency previously possible and with instantaneous signal bandwidth (IBW) of up to 6.4 GHz per converter. ELECTRA goes over triple the clock rate of the nearest third-party AD converter and over double the clock rate of the nearest DA converter. 64 GSPS 10-bit AC converters have noise spectral density (NSD) better than 10 dB and noise figure (NF) better than 17 dB at 9.5 GHz compared to the best AD converters 14 bits.
