MMilan, Piazza Oberdan – First the violent crash with an SUV, then the rush to the emergency room in code red. A 25-year-old motorcyclist remained badly injured following an accident with a car which occurred in Piazza Oberdan in Milan, in the early afternoon of Wednesday 5 June.
The accident occurred just before 1pm, as reported by the regional emergency emergency agency (Areu). The local police of Milan, who intervened to investigate the case, is investigating the exact dynamics of what happened. According to an initial reconstruction of the facts, the accident occurred at the intersection regulated by a traffic light: it seems that the car, driven by a 49-year-old man, was traveling Buenos Aires course in the direction of Corso Venezia, while the motorbike was coming from viale Majno and was headed towards Piazza Repubblica. The impact was very violent, so much so that the motorcyclist was thrown onto the asphalt five meters from the point of collision.
LThe 25-year-old’s condition immediately appeared serious, so much so that the 118 operations center sent two ambulances and a medical vehicle. Stabilized by medics, the motorcyclist was transported under code red to the Niguarda emergency room, having suffered trauma to his abdomen and leg. The motorist’s condition was found to be less serious: he was transported to Fatebenefratelli under green code due to trauma to his face and arm.
