More than forty-eight hours have passed since the accident occurred at the Rosignano motorway toll booth. Three people lost their lives, six were injured. This is the definitive outcome of the accident that occurred on Sunday, June 2, at the A12 motorway toll booth between Rosignano Marittimo and Rosignano Barriera, in the Livorno area, towards Rome. A huge accident, a crazy shock for the whole of Italy.

At around 1pm a black car crashed at breakneck speed into the toll booth and was driven by the German Robert Friendrich Fendt with his wife at his side Cornelia Maria Schubert, 68 years old: both deceased. A fatal impact that left no escape even for the Florentine Marco Acciai, 21 years old who was driving a red 500, stopped at the toll booth waiting to go through the toll. The boy, who died instantly, was there traveling with his girlfriend LM, aged 29, who miraculously survived the terrible accident. In fact, their car was the first to impact the car driven by Fendt.

L. lives in Pontassieve with his family, in the Villini area. She was rescued and transported to the Livorno hospital, she was discharged yesterday. A situation, however, very delicate as she would find herself under a strong state of shock undoubtedly justified by the tragedy of what she experienced in those terrible moments.

Acciai, a Florentine, unlike what initially emerged a few hours after the tragedy, did not live in one of the municipalities of Valdisieve. The boys did not live together and had met at work where a beautiful relationship was born. That Sunday they were going to Cecina to spend a peaceful day but fate was mocking. A few seconds completely changed their lives.
