reduced recommended prices of petrol and diesel

The prices of refined products suffer the third consecutive decline, with Brent reaching 80 dollars, the lowest level since the beginning of February. Fuel prices at the pump also continue to fall, with a new low of the year for diesel at 1.715 euros per litre.

According to the data, on Saturday Eni reduced the recommended prices of petrol and diesel by one cent per liter, while Q8 followed the same trend. Tamoil recorded a two-cent markdown on gasoline.

However, a new challenge looms for motorists, as a European tax is expected to be introduced which could cause petrol and diesel prices to rise.

Here are the average prices charged, communicated by managers to the Price Observatory of the Ministry of Business and Made in Italy and processed by Staffetta:

  • Self-service petrol: 1.866 euros per liter (-4 thousandths)
  • Self-service diesel: 1.715 euros per liter (-5 thousandths)
