Great celebration in recent days for the Campo Oro district, which celebrated the victory of the Third Category championship in an event at a well-known city restaurant. Players, technical staff, management and supporters of the yellow-green club gathered to remember the splendid ride that led to promotion to the Second Category. During the evening, organized by the president Antonello Quagliata and the sporting director Pino Antonucci, two players who will hang up their boots were awarded, namely Alessio Baroncini and Giacomo La Rosa, who received a plaque, respectively from the president of the Cpc Patrizio Scilipoti and by the president of Civitavecchia Calcio Patrizio Presutti, who was also accompanied to the evening by the new member Massimo Mecozzi. On the occasion of the presentation of the plaque to La Rosa, Quagliata remembered the former president of the Cpc, Sergio Presutti, with the logos of Qco and Cpc, given the many years with the red jersey of Giacomo La Rosa. The Campo Oro District will start again from mister Fabio Secondino and the entire group, who has been entirely reconfirmed. But a campaign to strengthen the squad is also planned to better face the new adventure. Also present at the evening was the well-known journalist Massimo Ciccognani, who remembered the figure of the late CPC president Sergio Presutti. The Campo Oro District also recalled that it is preparing the technical staff and roster to also face the Serie C2 5-a-side football championship, another novelty for the yellow-green club.
