Start Romagna wins with the travel passes project

At the Rimini Campus he wins the 2024 edition of Project Work 2024 a project dedicated to the proposal of new travel tickets for local public transport.

Stimulating and accompanying the growth of a public transport culture is one of the objectives of Start Romagna and the collaboration with institutional entities that deal with training is the ideal meeting point to strengthen its roots.

Hence the idea of ​​getting involved with Project Work, an initiative promoted by master’s degree course in Service Management at the University of Bologna Rimini Campusa sort of competition between projects written by students participating in the second year of the academic year.

Start Romagna is participating in this project for the second year, which is fully within the company vision which aims to maintain an active dialogue with local institutions and the world of schools.

The team of students who won the study prize was made up of Zhyldyz Rakhatbekova, Fulvia Sirna and Juan Pablo Peñalosa. The focus entrusted to them by three representatives of Start Romagna, Alessandra Gotini, Monica Vandi and Mikael Dtanteconcerned the improvement of the commercial offer, in particular the tourist one.

The work started from a market analysis, and then went on to define which characteristics an attractive travel ticket must have for tourist users extended to the entire basin served by Start Romagna: Forlì-Cesena, Ravenna and Rimini, with international origins and different levels of digital competence. This was followed by meetings with the Company’s representatives and the identification of a European city that was the most compatible with the Start context, which turned out to be Valencia. The collection of information also involved the administration of questionnaires to customers, followed by the proposal of parameters in terms of service, personalization and digital integration.

At the end, the project which featured the activities of Start Romagna was awarded as the most deserving by a special commission made up of teachers of the course of study.
