Ancona. – “Approximately 18 months after the flood of September 2022, the construction of 34 works in river expansion and reclamation tanks has been approved for a total amount of 130 million euros, disbursed and in the process of being spent.” This was announced by the regional councilor of Fratelli d’Italia, Carlo Ciccioli.
“What had to be done by the previous regional council led by Ceriscioli in 5 years – states Ciccioli – we have now achieved in less than two years especially with regards to the mitigation of hydrogeological risk with interventions planned for the rivers: Nevola, Misa, Cesano and Burano. All this to minimize the recurrence of dramatic situations of this kind.

The councilor of Fratelli d’Italia, candidate for the European elections, recalls that part of the compensation has already been provided both for private individuals and for production activities and businesses and adds: “On the hydrogeological risk in Italy, Europe can and must do more to allow our beautiful Marche and, obviously, Italian territory to be consolidated and protected to completely eliminate the risk of disasters such as those which have affected the Marche region in recent years”.
