Modica, meeting between the mayor and Confcooperative – Giornale Ibleo

The series of meetings that the new presidency of Confcooperative territorial Ragusa is implementing with the mayors of the province continues. After the debut appointment with the mayor of the capital municipality, this time it was the turn of the mayor of Modica, Maria Monisteri Caschetto. The municipal administration was also represented by the councilor for social services, Chiara Facello, as well as the sector manager, Rosario Caccamo. Confcooperative was represented by the president Luca Campisi, accompanied by the area manager, Emanuele Lo Presti. Also speaking for the occasion was the president of the other cooperative center present in the area, Gianni Rollo of Legacoop (in the photo from left Caccamo, Campisi, Monisteri, Facello, Rollo, Lo Presti). At the center of the cordial and fruitful discussion are the issues which most closely concern, in this delicate phase, the world of cooperation, starting with the adaptation of the Ccnl for the staff of social cooperatives, in addition to the question concerning schools given that, precisely on city ​​territory, there are many institutions managed with the operational form of cooperation. The delicate issue of delays in payments to cooperatives operating in the performance of essential services for the Municipality was also touched upon and, from this point of view, the administration is committed to trying to speed up the procedures. Also on the table are the problems and prospects regarding new cooperation, from tourism to animal husbandry without neglecting the aspects linked to the Gal planet. “An interesting meeting – comments President Campisi – which gives us the opportunity, once again, to verify how varied the world of cooperation is in our territory while awaiting always punctual and effective responses from the public administration”.
