Some cows already dead, with carcasses on the ground, others alive but in a state of malnutrition. This is the scenario that the men of the Valle d’Aosta Forestry Corps found themselves faced with during an inspection at the beginning of the week. The stable where the animals were located, in the municipal area of ​​Torgnon, it was then seized.

The breeder, the 55 year old from Valle d’Aosta Flavio Perrinwas entered in the register of suspects by the Public Prosecutor’s Office for the illicit disposal of waste (relating to the carcasses of dead animals, just under ten) and for the mistreatment of animals (about forty leaders found still alive).

The prosecutor Luca Ceccanti requested and obtained validation of the preventive seizure from the investigating judge of the Court. This is the precautionary measure that the investigating judiciary can arrange to avoid the continuation of the consequences of a crimeor facilitate the commission of other crimes.
