The images of theflood which in recent days has plagued several counties in the Texas they have been around the world and some of them really seem to belong to a film of this kind disaster movie. In 24 hours, several centimeters of rain fell in the southeast of the Lone Star State, a quantity that would have put even communities much more accustomed to intense rain into crisis. Instead Texas has little confidence in the rain precisely: heavy rainfall, big trouble. Because the rescue services are unprepared. Under the video which is all the rage on the web: a tir 9-axle vehicle goes off the road and sinks into what appears to be a raging torrent.
SUSPENSION The thriller dates back to Thursday May 2 and it is set Shepherd, in Texas, a place near which a driver appears to involuntarily leave the road, perhaps to try to avoid hitting the truck in front. Or perhaps because the driver simply doesn’t realize how deep the water is on that side of the road. As the bison plunges into rushing waters, the driver goes out the window: subsequent updates have established that the man was saved and that he emerged unharmed.

ABANDONED ”A rescue boat has arrived and has rescued the truck driver”a person present at the scene named Athina tells local media. Hundreds of people were trapped between two different flood zones. And to add insult to injury: ”When we called the sheriff’s department – explains the witness – we were told that they had no intention of helping people blocked and that we would have to go through the flood”. Yep, all free stuff for the next one disaster movie.
