Region, 210 thousand euros for music education courses

Trieste, 5 May – It is important to support the holding of musical education courses in the primary school classes of the regional school system. For these purposes, 210 thousand euros were allocated to the National Association of autonomous Italian musical bands (Anbima Fvg) and to the Union of Italian choral societies (Usci Fvg) which obtained 133 thousand euros and 77 thousand euros respectively. Also through measures of this type, the training offer of the Friuli Venezia Giulia school system is strengthened.

This is in summary the comment of the Education Councilor after the recent approval of a specific resolution by the Regional Council.

Bands or choirs, fundamental instruments for the widespread diffusion of musical culture, will be able to apply by October 31st to Anbima Fvg or Usci Fvg, who have the task of allocating the assigned resources.

Each contribution cannot exceed 3 thousand euros. Up to 5 percent of the total amount of the allocation may be reserved for administrative allocation and reporting activities. ARC/TOF/pph
