Everything is easy for Virtus Segafredo Bologna who closes the regular season with a victory. The Vu Nere, following the instructions given by coach Banchi in the pre-match, annihilated Trento by winning with the final score of 108-61. The match, already closed in the first half, saw Segafredo in great form, capable of performing at their best both in attack and defense with all their men. With this success, the Vu Nere take first place in the championship which guarantees home field advantage for all the play-offs which will see Bologna face Tortona

Solid first quarter played by Virtus Bologna, who entered the field with the right attitude. Segafredo, in fact, managed to take off by finding good offensive solutions and involving all the players sent onto the field by coach Banchi. Trento, however, was unable to find the right countermoves to keep up with the Vu Nere. The first quarter ended with Bologna leading 30-15. The 6-0 score for Trentino at the start of the second quarter sent coach Banchi into a rage, immediately ready to call a time out. The Tuscan coach’s move proved to be the right one. In fact, coming out of the break, Belinelli entered the game, author of the baskets that brought Segafredo back into full control. The 34-7 break placed by Virtus cut off Trento’s legs, putting an end to the match already at the end of the first half.

The second half was pure administration for Virtus, capable of maintaining a reassuring lead. Le Vu Nere, continuing to play with the intensity seen in the first two halves of the game, kept Dolomiti Energia at a distance and were thus able to celebrate the victory with their fans at the sound of the final siren.
