The “Community House” to be built in the premises of the former Taurianova Polyclinic seems to be taking shape since resolution no. 1145 of 22 December 2023, the definitive project for a compression expense of 2,324,367.85 euros from the Asp of Reggio Calabria.
The former health clinic was closed due to its dilapidated conditions due to very poor safety issues, and even after an inspection and a harsh report by the NAS of Reggio Calabria, a “Community House” financed with the funds should now be created of the PNRR.
Currently the outpatient services have been transferred to the structure of the former vaccination center and its operation in the provision of medical and health services is fully operational with extraordinary efficiency thanks to the work of the doctors, nurses and administrative staff.
The ASP of Reggio Calabria, under the general direction of Dr. Lucia Di Furia, made use of “Invitalia” as the Central Procurement Office for the stipulation of the management of the framework agreements, as reported in the resolution. We also read that with “provision of award prot. n. 326878 of 11/10/2022, Invitalia, has identified the grouping of professionals constituted by the company LFA architecture&engineering srl as agent, and by Eng. Gianni Breda, “WEI N Venice srl”, and by the association of professionals composed of Eng. Palma Alessandro and eng. Ing. Pernechele Roberto, and by the Geologist Dr. Elena Bellen as principals, the economic operator entrusted with the technical services necessary for the subsequent procurement procedure on the basis of the “Advanced” Technical and Economic Feasibility Project, authorizing, pending the ritual checks, the signing of the relevant Purchase Order”.
The works have begun with a first tranche for a total value of around 150 thousand euros and should be completed within two months. Then in September there will be the second tranche with the realization of the largest contract of almost 1 million 800 thousand euros, so as to have a “Community House” in Taurianova, efficient and functional at the service of citizens in a structure, which is a historical symbol for healthcare in Taurianova, given that two different companies carried out the work.
