CAMPOBASSO – On May 3, at the headquarters of the Liberaluna association in via Mazzini, a meeting was held to remember the great event Viva Vittoria Campobasso. The proceedings were opened by Giuseppina Panichella, councilor for the budget of the municipality of Campobasso, who was a supporter of the activities and supported the Liberaluna association and all the women who participated in the creation of the blankets which colored Piazza Vittorio Emanuele on 20 November 2022.
Following this, the manager of the Liberaluna Anti-Violence Centre, La Selva Maria Grazia, thanked the ODV MeToo working group who set up the room with the many woolen squares and gave the floor to the president Pasqualino De Mattia who shared it with everyone those present the aims and meaning of the Viva Vittoria project. All the women who decided to participate in the Viva Vittoria Isernia, which will end on 23 and 24 November 2024 in Piazza Andre D’Isernia, have embraced with great enthusiasm the idea proposed by president De Mattia of donating the proceeds of the fundraising to be held through the sale of blankets at the Liberaluna Anti-Violence Centre.
It is important, they said, to offer Molise and an Anti-Violence Center in the region the possibility of having funds available to respond to all requests for help. The moment was important to reflect on the phenomenon of violence against women and how we can still fight to give a new life to women who decide to report.
