House of the Dragon: Matt Smith Reveals Which Scene Gave Him an Eye Injury During Filming | TV

Ahead of the arrival of season 2 of House of the Dragonscheduled for June (WATCH THE TRAILER), Matt Smith (Daemon Targaryen) chatted with Fabien Frankel (Ser Criston Cole) in a video for Max’s YouTube channel. For the occasion, the two watched some scenes from the first season together, including the one in which the two characters clash to a duel. Here’s what happened during filming:

The cast of the second season, consisting of eight episodes, includes Matt Smith, Olivia Cooke, Emma D’Arcy, Eve Best, Steve Toussaint, Fabien Frankel, Ewan Mitchell, Tom Glynn-Carney, Sonoya Mizuno and Rhys Ifans. Among the actors from the first season who return to the cast of the new episodes also Harry Collett, Bethany Antonia, Phoebe Campbell, Phia Saban, Jefferson Hall and Matthew Needham.
