Disturbances at Olbia airport after the accident.
Olbia airport has been reopened after the accident involving a small plane of the Enav. It is not known when the Costa Smeralda airport will open yet, but there was a lot of inconvenience during the day for many passengers. Several flights were cancelled, while others suffered delays.
The delays and cancellations affected both departures and arrivals, some of which were diverted to Alghero. While the rest of the flights were cancelled. The Easyjet flight to Bergamo at 1.50pm and the Ryanair flight at 2.15pm were cancelled. The Aeroitalia one that was due was also cancelled arrive at Linate at 3.30pm. However, there were dozens of delays on other flights, both outbound and return, awaiting the reopening of the airport.

It is unclear whether it was due to the strong winds or the tire failure, but the vehicle ended up off the track, lying on its side. Investigations are underway at the airport to reconstruct the dynamics of the accident.
What happened.
During the landing phases at the Costa Smeralda airport in Olbia, in the early afternoon, a small ENAV aircraft was involved in an accident in which the landing gear broke. Fortunately, there were no serious consequences and no crew member was injured. On site, firefighters intervened to remove the aircraft and ensure the safety of the runway.
