GRAZZANISE – “La farm confiscated at the camorra it was returned to the community and is now dedicated to a Carabinieri marshal who was an example of courage. Thanks to one and a half million in regional funds it was possible to revive this asset confiscated from the Schiavone clan and the structure will soon become technical Institute with a specialization in “Agriculture and agri-food” from the “Falco” school of Capua”.
President Oliviero’s statement
Thus the president of the Campania Regional Council Gennaro Oliviero who, this morning, was present at the inauguration of Grazzanise of an asset stolen from the family of the former boss Francesco Schiavone “Sandokan” with the president of the Campania Region, Vincenzo De Luca who cut the ribbon. “Social reuse represents the defeat of the Camorra – continues Oliviero – the steps towards the rebirth of these places, once a symbol of oppression, also pass through good administration and the institutional chain between the territory and the Region. The Campania Regional Council, some time ago, gave the green light to the variant of the project which provided for the change of intended use from a farm to educational laboratories. Thanks to that decision, this facility will now welcome students. The fact that it was named after Marshal Baldassare Nero is a further symptom of the redemption of a territory”.
Mayor Petrella’s statement
With the ribbon cutting, President De Luca gave the green light to the activities and placed the emphasis on the funds allocated to achieve this result.
