Is called “Direct Wire” and is the new listening desk aimed at the families of students with disabilities who use the specialist assistance service of the Municipality of Rieti. It will be active from Monday 22 April 2024 in the room in front of the registry office on the ground floor of the municipal building in Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II.
The innovation was introduced through the resolution approved in recent weeks by the municipal council, on the proposal of the councilor for social policies Giovanna Palomba, with which the project proposed by “Medihospes Coop was implemented. Soc” aimed at offering an additional territorial educational assistance service for scholastic integration for pupils with serious physical and mental disabilities.
The “Filo Diretto” desk will be active starting from Monday 22 April, every Monday and Thursday from 4.00 pm to 6.00 pm, and can be accessed by appointment by contacting the service coordinators at the following numbers:

Among the objectives we have set ourselves, in fact, are those of supporting families in critical moments, offering opportunities and spaces for reception, consultancy, discussion, also useful for identifying any further needs of the pupils and for sharing the psycho-emotional difficulties arising from the management of a disability in one’s family unit”.
