MOUNTAIN COMMUNITY “SANTA CROCE” – The Mayors of the Municipalities of Mignano Monte Lungo, Roccamonfina and Tora and Piccilli ask the President of the Monte Santa Croce Mountain Community to urgently convene a meeting between Mayors to address, also for prevention purposes, the important problem of the care of public green areas .

And this both for the decorum of the entire community territory, and in order to avoid dangers to public hygiene and public and private safety due to forest fires which, in almost all cases, often break out precisely due to the failure to clean the I was.

In fact, in a previous meeting held in the presence of the Mayors on 28 March, the President of the Mountain Community had assured his precise commitment by declaring that he wanted to draw the necessary resources from the Mountain Fund.

To date, however, considering that the necessary interventions should be carried out during the current period preceding the summer season, nothing has yet been decided.

Furthermore, taking into account that the Mountain Community has purchased n. 2 new brush cutting vehicles as well as the arrangement and repair of additional vehicles already supplied, it appears that these, inexplicably, are not yet operational.
