In the past few hours the Lazio sporting director has tried to clarify the future of Daichi Kamadaa former Eintracht midfielder who signed a one-year contract as a free agent in the summer with options for a further extension in his favor.
“Kamada is finding an important space with Tudor. The Indians are finding the signs, he has a certain type of contract which required him to spend a year in Rome and reserve the possibility of staying or not. He can exercise the clause option , Lazio can do very little about it. In the last period Kamada is proving to be an excellent player. The clause expires on May 30th and only he can exercise it no one is indispensable”, explained Fabiani.
According to what Fabrizio Romano reported, the clause in question is very particular: Kamada will in fact be able to extend his contract until 2027 by paying €100 to the Biancoceleste club. Certainly not an impossible figure for a player of his level. Otherwise, everything as per the current contract, with the Japanese player seeing his contract expire at the end of the season and then signing with any other club for nothing.
