Towards the new Mirandola Community House, public meeting to illustrate the services – SulPanaro

MIRANDOLA – Just over a month after the start of the activity, the Mirandola Community House tells its citizens about itself. The public meeting, which falls within the scope of the “New services for new needs” review, is scheduled for Saturday 20 April, from 9 am in the “Rita Levi Montalcini” room in Via 29 Maggio 4 in Mirandola: it will be the same healthcare professionals to present routes and services that will animate the structure which will open in June, in the redeveloped spaces within the north wing of block 02 of the Santa Maria Bianca Hospital. A non-random location: the Mirandola Community House will in fact be proposed as a bridge between hospital and local assistance, capable of functionally integrating the care of the citizen thanks to shared and structured paths.

After the greetings of the authorities and the introduction of Annamaria Ferraresi, director of the Mirandola District, the professionals who took care of the health project of the structure will speak, i.e. Mariella Carolina Gallo, doctor in charge of the Mirandola Primary Care, Mary Guerzoni, responsible organization of the Community Houses of the Mirandola District, and Inga Iamandii (Primary care).

They will be the ones to go into the merits of the services that the Community House will offer to the territory in the over 1,400 m2 of specialist and general medicine clinics, spread over two floors: on the mezzanine floor there will be clinics dedicated to the General Practitioners of the MediGroup group medicine Mirandola is a space dedicated to volunteering and the Single Access Point, for reception and orientation to services; while on the first floor there are specialist clinics for Diabetology, Orthopaedics, Infectious Diseases, Ophthalmology and Orthoptics, together with the Community Nurse. Health promotion and prevention paths will also have a central role, which will be discussed by Anna Confente, district representative for health promotion, while Lorenzo Scaglietti, psychologist and head of territorial community paths, will talk about the figure of the community psychologist at interior of the Community House. The integration between social and health services will be the theme of the speech by Veronica Bonatti, head of the Planning Office.

Following this, a group of students from the Luosi socio-health institute of higher education, accompanied by the school director Rossella Di Sorbo, will illustrate the salient steps of the participation path which also involved volunteering, represented by Laura Solieri of the Service Center Volunteering CSV Terre Estensi.
