The man, a transsexual, acted in the company of an accomplice

In a statement, the Rimini Police Headquarters reports that on 14 April 2024, at 4.45 am, “two State Police cars intervened in via Regina Margheritabecause the emergency number 112 – NUE had received a call in which the applicants reported that they had suffered a robbery by two women.

Once on site, the officers identified the three boys who had called the police and the latter reported that while they were in their car, two people approached and opened the front doors of the car. One of the two sat on the legs of the driver, the other spoke to the passenger and “groped” him.

Suddenly the woman, sitting on the young man’s legs, tore the gold chain from his neck, pushed him and closed the door of the vehicle and fled. The other, however, fled in a car, also losing track of herself.

Having acquired the information and descriptions, the police began looking for these two women, tracking one down after about twenty minutes, also discovering that it was a transsexual. The latter was immediately recognized by the boys as the person who had torn off the gold chain shortly before.

In consideration of the events that occurred, the man was reported in a state of freedom for the crime indicated above”.

The Police Headquarters reminds us that “the presumption of innocence applies towards suspected and accused persons”.
