04/17/2024 – This morning, shortly after 11.00, a new road accident occurred on Montelabbatese, near the methane distributor, when a motorbike violently collided with a garbage disposal vehicle.
According to the testimonies, it seems that the vehicle was entering the road, just at the moment the motorbike arrived. The motorcyclist attempted to avoid the truck, but the side collision was unavoidable. After the collision, the motorbike was thrown towards the edge of the road, stopping balanced against the fence of a private residence, in a pose that testifies to the violence of the impact.
The driver of the motorbike, quickly helped by the 118 medics who rushed to the scene, was urgently transported to the hospital. At the moment no information has been provided on his condition, but the accident raises new concerns about the safety of this road, the scene of numerous accidents in recent times.
The local police, present on site, have started investigations to clarify the dynamics of the accident.
Montelabbatese, in fact, has recently been the scene of other serious accidents, including a collision last Friday between a motorbike and a car, increasing concerns about road safety in that area.
These repeated incidents raise questions about the safety of Montelabbatese and the need for more effective preventive measures.
