Since 6.15pm on Tuesday, the firefighters have been operating on the A4 motorway between the San Donà and Cessalto junctions due to the collision of a heavy vehicle by a foreign bus: 10 injured.
On board the bus were 23 passengers and two drivers. The firefighters who arrived from Motta di Livenza, San Donà and Treviso with the crane made the vehicle safe, while the passengers were assisted by the team personnel and the health personnel who arrived with several ambulances.
The traffic police and A4 auxiliary staff are on site. Firefighters were also on site with their own bus to transfer unharmed passengers.

Around 6.15 pm an accident occurred on the stretch between San Donà and Cessalto towards Trieste at kilometer 428 + 200.
A bus and a heavy vehicle were involved. According to an initial reconstruction, there are injuries.
The bus that hit the heavy vehicle at kilometer 428+200 (near the municipality of San Donà di Piave) on the A4 motorway towards Trieste was carrying 25 people. The toll is ten injured, all – according to an initial reconstruction – not seriously. At the point where the accident occurred, traffic flows along the emergency lane as the bus occupies part of the travel and overtaking lane. The heavy vehicle has already been removed from the road. Several fire and medical teams are working on site.
To allow operations, the San Donà di Piave junction at the entrance towards Trieste was closed.
