Latina / Car overturned, three injured in an accident on the Podgora road. It’s a hunt for hit-and-run drivers

LATINA – A car overturned this morning just before 3pm in Podgora street, just outside Latina, ending up off the road. Three people were injured in the accident and were transported to Santa Maria Goretti hospital. Their conditions are not serious.

According to reconstructions, just before 3pm, a black Nissan was involved in a violent overturn which projected it off the road. The exact circumstances of the accident are still being investigated by the Local Police, but among the hypotheses considered is that of another car cutting the road.

According to what one of the injured people reported to the rescuers on site, it seems that another car suddenly crossed the road of the Nissan involved in the accident, causing it to overturn violently. The precise dynamics of how the events unfolded are still emerging as local police investigators continue their investigations.

Three people were involved in the accident: two men and a 52-year-old woman resident in Sezze. Fortunately, their conditions are not serious, but they were still transported urgently to the Santa Maria Goretti Hospital in Latina to receive medical treatment and in-depth tests.

The Podgora road was temporarily closed to traffic while rescuers and local police officers worked at the scene of the accident. All drivers are advised to proceed with caution and comply with traffic regulations to avoid similar accidents in the future.

At the moment, the Local Police is continuing investigations to determine the precise causes of the accident and clarify responsibilities. Any witnesses to the incident are invited to provide any information that may be useful to the authorities to reconstruct the event accurately.
