We continue to work on the programs and the list of candidates. The question at the center of the discussion was: how to bring about a possible change? 1) Making clear and substantive commitments to voters; 2) By building political alliances on programs and not on power plays, business or personal revenge, putting the moral question at the center; 3) Involving the population, in particular young people, interested in the great challenges that San Marino today, in the context of the Association Agreement with the European Union, must face, such as the reduction of foreign debt, climate change, training, access to services, the protection of public health or, again, the challenges linked to the housing emergency, new technologies and innovation. In this sense, a serious reflection has been opened regarding the project of aggregation of the center-left area that has always been wanted by Libera and which has seen the approach first of the Socialist Party, which will run on the list with us, and then of the Party of Socialists of the Democrats. The PSD’s untimely and contradictory media outlets were stigmatized by the Board of Directors, considering the political project, the clarity of the proposal, and not the individual party or personal needs as a priority. Libera wants to reorganize the center-left area with a serious, constructive, coherent approach, disconnected from the methods of old politics which in the past caused damage to the system, free from personalisms that have little to do with political, reformist and progressive planning that our country needs. Along these lines, Libera’s Board of Directors will continue, together with the other bodies of the Party, to carry out its action and the necessary discussions in view of the next political elections on 9 June.
