He was called Davide Vigliotti and the motorist who this morning was 46 years old lost his life in a road accident in Corso Susa in Rivoli. Vigliotti, for reasons yet to be ascertained, lost control of his car and crashed into a tree:
His tragic death hit the world of Turin youth football hard. In fact, Vigliotti was currently coach of the 2017 group Bsr Grugliasco but in the past he had coached in many other municipalities in the area and in Val di Susa: from Venaus to Airaschese to Union Valle Susa. A present on the benches after a time on the pitch: Vigliotti had in fact been a player before being a coach, also playing in Susa Bruzolo and Beiborg (Beinasco team). A passion that alternated with his occupation, that of barista at the Pecchia café-pizzeria in Piazza Bengasi.
There were many messages of condolence on the web, including that of Salvatore Pecchia: «How many battles cheering for our Napoli and how much fun we had on our away games. You, friend and great collaborator, the cheerfulness and joyful wit of Piazza Bengasi, you were a point of reference in the Pecchia family. You are already missing, it will be hard to accept your absence.” Condolences also from the Municipality of Grugliasco: «The mayor Emanuele Gaito, the sports councilor Dario Lorenzoni, the president of the city council Luigi Musarò and the city council join, with immense regret, to the pain of the Bsr Grugliasco club and the family members for the passing of the young Davide Vigliotti. We grieve for the pain of our friends and relatives.” «We love you and will remember you forever» is the simple message chosen instead by Bsr Grugliasco.
