L’craftsmanship is culture, tradition, heritage, design and skills: a mosaic rich in knowledge that represents the identity of a territory. In the context of Crafts Code callwhich aims to promote the development of processes, products and services related to SMEs in the sector, the Municipality of Florence decided to take up the challenge, launching together with Artex Artistic Craftsmanship a series of itineraries that discover the historic Florentine shops selected within the platform “Creative Florence“, the portal that puts the artistic and creative realities of the metropolitan area online.

A trip to fourteen stages to get to know the productive fabric of the city, but also to enhance the heart of Florence, which pulsates in its neighborhoods, its streets and its most beautiful corners: starting from the “Renaissance geometries” of the Ideal City, embodied by Piazza della Santissima Annunziatawhere the Basilica stands, the mirrored and facing loggias of the Hospital of the Innocents and of the Servants of Mary, and the two “”twins”, Grifoni Palace And Palace of the Two Fountainsas well as precious elements of street furniture such as the equestrian monument to Grand Duke Ferdinand I and the pair of bronze fountains.
